How To Assemble Vermont Wimbledon Championship Tennis Net (3.5mm)

Follow our step-by-step video on how to assemble our 42ft Championship DT Tennis Net. It may be intricately enhanced and created for the world’s best tennis courts, but it’s simple to install.

Description

Crafted by a team of tennis experts, the Vermont DT Championship Tennis Net is our most authentic and elite tennis net yet.

It was designed not only to pay homage to the iconic nets of previous Wimbledon tournaments, but to emulate them too.

Beautifully conventional, they exude all the style and charisma of the greatest tennis competition on Earth.

However, if you’re worried that there’s a complex assembly process, you can rest assured that’s not the case.

Setting up the net and fixing it to your tennis posts couldn’t be easier, follow our instructions below and watch the video closely!

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 – Ascertain what type of tennis posts you possess (if you own our Square or Round Vermont Posts, then both are compatible).

Step 2 – If your posts feature an internal winder, use a pair of snips to cut the cable down by 2ft 5inches (2’, 5”). This results in the correct cable length & plain pin finish.

Step 3 – Hook the net onto the Anchor Post and feed the cable over the top of the post so that the cable is positioned sitting in the groove.

Step 4 – On the opposite end of the tennis net, feed the cable into the winder mechanism. Then wind the tension cable until taut.

Step 5 – Lace the DT net to the vertical side of the posts using the most appropriate method at your disposal. (e.g. via a Retaining Rod, Hooks, Fixed Lacing Bar, or Twine/Rope Lacing).

Finishing Touches

  • Tennis Net Centre Strap – Utilise a centre strap to reduce the tennis net height to the official regulation height of 3 foot.
  • Singles Sticks – A handy tool for converting doubles tennis nets (42ft) to singles tennis nets (33ft). Position these 4ft, 6inches (4’, 6”) in from both posts.
  • Tennis Net Height Gauge – To officially certify that your tennis net’s height sits at exactly the regulation 3ft.
